Job Title: Ecommerce Head
As the E-commerce Head, you will be responsible for leading and driving our e-commerce strategy and operations. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing the online shopping experience, driving sales growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
E-commerce Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Define clear goals, KPIs, and performance metrics to measure the success of e-commerce initiatives.
Website Management:
- Oversee the design, functionality, and user experience of the company's e-commerce platform.
- Collaborate with web developers and UX/UI designers to implement improvements.
Product Merchandising and Assortment:
- Curate and manage the online product catalogue, ensuring accurate listings, compelling product descriptions, and engaging visuals.
- Monitor product availability and assortment based on market demand and trends.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
- Implement strategies to improve website conversion rates, including A/B testing, user experience enhancements, and checkout process optimization.
Digital Marketing Integration:
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to ensure cohesive strategies for SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
- Leverage digital marketing channels to drive traffic and sales.
Inventory Management and Fulfilment:
- Oversee inventory levels, demand forecasting, and replenishment strategies.
- Collaborate with logistics and fulfilment teams to ensure timely and efficient order processing and delivery.
Customer Experience and Support:
- Monitor and enhance the online customer experience, including customer service responsiveness, reviews, and feedback management.
-Implement strategies to improve customer retention and loyalty.
- Data Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to track and analyse e-commerce performance metrics.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the executive team, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant e-commerce regulations, data privacy laws, and industry standards.
Partnerships and Vendor Management:
- Identify and manage relationships with e-commerce partners, third-party service providers, and technology vendors to enhance the online shopping experience.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, optimizing spend to achieve maximum ROI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field. Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive marketing experience, with a strong background in FMCG, including juices, carbonated beverages, and herbal products
- Proven experience in leading and growing e-commerce operations, preferably in [industry/niche]
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and best practices
- Proficiency in data analytics and e-commerce management tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
