Head - Ecommerce & Digital Marketing - Retail
eCommerce Responsibilities :
- Manage overall e-Commerce activities
- Work with business areas to define business/brand goals and develop digital strategies based on consumer insights, trend analysis and business objectives
- Work closely with UX/Interaction Designers, Creative Technologists, Visual Designers, Social teams, Media Planners and Copywriters
- Lead and document current state content assessments (process, people and technology)
- Oversee content requirements, and work with the team in creating content strategy deliverables, such as content audits, gap analysis, taxonomy/metadata frameworks, content migration strategy, recommended content management processes, conceptual technology architecture, and governance structure etc.
- Experience in building digital strategies and customer journey mapping
- Excellent in both strategic and hands-on business planning and digital marketing execution
- Strong understanding of marketing, e-commerce platforms and on-line sales generation
- In-depth experience in digital marketing role working with India and US markets
- Maintain a strong understanding of customer journey, profiles and needs to identify business process improvements
- Experience of supply chain management and an innate understanding of how to plan for periods of rapid growth in consumer demand
- Experience in managing paid media and community management
- Supporting the setup of new customer accounts
- Managing Direct Channels (online and physical)
- Strategy & Roadmap ; Contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of the vision, strategy and roadmap for e-commerce platform as well as B2B /B2C capabilities needed to meet the company's e-commerce sales objectives
- Measurement & Optimization ; Drive ongoing expansion and evolution of the e-commerce capabilities as well as enable processes & integrations to allow testing & learning, that includes optimization, targeting and personalization
Digital Marketing ; Responsibilities :
- Plan, monitor and optimize online marketing campaigns across product categories.
- Ensure timely and quality execution of creative team and media agencies
- Achieve ROI targets and drive ongoing improvement
- Ongoing analytics for Landing page optimization and testing to improve conversion of online campaigns.
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals - general and keyword specific
- Administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools) for purposes of diagnostic reporting
- Support for creating marketing content to socialize and use for social media purposes (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts and customers)
Desired Candidate profile :
- MBA/PGDM ; Marketing from good colleges with 10-12 years experience exclusively in E-commerce & Digital Marketing in Retail - good brands
- Experience in Digital Marketing in India & US Markets
- Interpretation on numbers and data.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
- High speed of execution and quick but collaborative decision making.
- Self-driven, ability to plan and execute in ambiguous / limited data availability situations.
- Should have an aesthetic eye for good creative and design.
- Should have good knowledge of English and South Indian Regional Languages.
- Should be willing to work out of Coimbatore/Chennai
- Candidates who can join in a short time will be preferred.
