Head - eCommerce

Job Summary:

The Head of Ecommerce will be responsible for driving the overall ecommerce strategy, managing online sales channels, and ensuring seamless customer experiences to maximize revenue growth. This role demands strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing, and customer behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and execute the ecommerce strategy to drive revenue, growth, and market share.

- Identify new opportunities in the ecommerce space, including emerging platforms and technologies.

- Align ecommerce goals with overall business objectives and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Operations and Platform Management:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ecommerce platforms (marketplaces).

- Manage relationships with technology partners, vendors, and third-party service providers.

- Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of ecommerce platforms.

Sales and Revenue Management:

- Own the ecommerce P&L, ensuring profitability and cost optimization.

- Monitor and analyze sales performance across channels, identifying areas for improvement.

- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets for online channels.

Team Leadership:

- Build and lead a high-performing ecommerce team, including marketing, operations, and technology professionals.

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the team.

- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.

Customer Experience:

- Ensure a seamless and engaging user experience across all touchpoints.

- Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.

- Leverage data insights to personalize and improve customer interactions.
