Role : Sales Head / Director Sales - Retail / Commercial Property -Pan India (Real Estate Industry )

Location : Mumbai

Purpose of Role : Lead the Sales Initiative in Malls / Shopping complex & High Streets and grow the total P&L for Retail Services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Acquire an in-depth understanding of the Retail supply within the geographic territory to identify key potential prospects and to promote and sell the core range of the Organisation.

- Streamline the sales process to achieve maximum revenue; Adopt technology to enable higher efficiency

- Develop a detailed and relevant understanding of clients- business, organizational structure, business trends and operational requirements of prospects and clients to enable the promotion and selling of relevant company services

- Streamline the whole process of selling - from securing prospects to closure of deal

- Develop relationships at C-suite level with key clients/prospects to acquire a comprehensive understanding of Clients- business strategy, needs, requests and demands to and facilitate business development to be able to close new business sales

- Secure prospective clients: HNIs, Small scale investors & Brands as End users; to drive new business acquisition and gross profit target achievement

- Develop an aggressive sales action plan for new client acquisition to achieve monthly & annual sales and business targets for new business and up-selling into other regions.

- Ensure professional representation of the Organisation at client and industry-specific functions and maximize network opportunities, e.g. participation in conferences and exhibitions as part of your plan to develop prospects

- Build a team, lead and mentor sales as directed

- In conjunction with marketing, develop, communicate and roll-out sales stimulation initiatives to support the achievement of short-medium term goals and targets.

- As senior sales team member, provide coaching and mentoring of the team, using value selling principles based upon in-depth knowledge of retail real estate market

- Prepare and submit annual and quarterly objectives and accurate forecasts

Required Skills and Knowledge :

- Strong relationship building skills. A natural hunter and networker

- Well-developed influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to motivate and influence internal and external clients to commit to buying and the drive to close sales

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to successfully manage numerous projects simultaneously, including activity planning and pipeline management

- Strategic thinking with strong planning and organization skills on a micro and macro level; to develop solutions by adopting a consultative sales approach

- A strong individual capable of working autonomously and within a team to deliver results

- Ability to research and successfully gather all the required / relevant information relating to a client to support each stage of the sales process

- Excellent numeric, written, oral communication and presentation skills

Qualification & Experience :

- PG / MBA with 14+yrs experience into Selling Commercial Space in Real Estate Industry ( Selling of Space in Mall / Shopping Complexes)

- Proven experience in a sales/business development role with sales and gross profit responsibility and a track record of achievement

- Direct B2B solution/consultative selling experience in service industry selling experience to a similar investor client base (Banking sector, NBFC, RE Developer )
