What you will be doing:

- Engage with leadership team to build a healthy and fulfilling workplace experience for our diverse team.

- Help maintain our core values and ensure that all decisions, programs, and processes are aligned with our culture and core beliefs.

- Be a cultural champion, both as a role model and in leading your team and cross-company initiatives, to help us scale and strengthen our culture as we grow.

- Devise processes and implement systems across all people and culture domains, including hiring, onboarding, development, recognition, compensation, benefits management, offboarding, etc.

- Design employment branding initiatives that increase brand awareness.

- Own and drive talent acquisition through effective recruiting and hiring practices, including defining processes, sourcing, engaging with candidates, training hiring managers, and closing candidates.

- Create ongoing employee development opportunities for employees and managers through training, feedback, coaching, career path definition, competencies, etc.

- Ensure administrative record keeping and employment practices are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, in collaboration with external counsel.

- 8+ years of HR/People Ops experience in high growth companies

- 2-3 years of leadership experience

- Deep empathy and care for employees across the entire organization

- Experience with developing/scaling culture and working with a distributed team

- Experience with designing and rolling out processes

- Experience with recruiting and talent acquisition tasks

- Experience overseeing compensation and benefits

- Proficient with employment law and compliant record keeping

- Proficient in HR-tech software and data-driven people operations

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to handle change, tough conversations, and complex situations

- Extremely organized and well-versed in project management
