Position Purpose

1] The purpose of this role is to provide thought leadership, strategy and transformational insights to the strategic direct banking Operations and effectively support business strategies.

2] The role holder is required to develop, manage and drive the team &agenda of the bank. Implement new initiatives on the Direct Banking and digital platforms and focus on continuous improvements

3] To effectively manage budgets and contribute effectively to the business targets and operations cost efficiencies

4] Ensure all proper controls are implemented through robust SOPs.

Position Responsibilities

1 Effective management of financial budgets and optimize the Utilization

2 Manage & create robust Standard Operations procedures for all products under the Direct Banking operations

3 Manage Vendors effectively to ensure that the bank achieves best in class and cost effective services.

4 Manage key stakeholder relationships across internal and external customers / vendors

5 Ensuring effective contributions &executing the banks digital/ Direct banking strategy, on a highly efficient mode.

6 Ensuring that all processes are SOP compliant, deviations are documented with proper approvals from the relevant authority and ensuring that the team maintains focus on the compliance and regulatory aspects effectively.

7 Work with business in their discussions to develop and manage wallet product operational support

8 Developing and implementing entire back-office operations pertaining to m-wallet for customer on-boarding and transaction settlement

9 Manage card management operations encompassing card production, PIN generation, dispatch, card status maintenance and supervising system maintenance functions.

10 Identify possibility of optimum Automationand minimize manual processes in debit card issuance activities.

11 Oversee development of best in class online servicing working in conjunction with delivery partners

12 Implementation & Overlooking the operations procedures, accounting framework and reconciliation processes for debit cards, ATMs, bill payments, merchant settlements, Prepaid card & WLA

13 Manage complete back-office operations pertaining to electronic service delivery and fulfillment encompassing ATMs, Debit Cards, Merchant Acquiring, Prepaid card, WLA,

14 Develop and manage end to end processes and working closely with the Products & Business Team.

15 Focus on people development and backup planning with continuous focus on team performance

16 Create efficient escalation matrix with focus on resolution of client issues - internal and external

17 Ensure timely discussions with the stakeholders on initiatives, strategies, challenges to ensure that everyone is in sync and eliminate disconnect

Qualifications and Experience Requirement

Essential : Post graduate / MBA

Essential : Atleast 10 years of relevant work experience in managing debit cards logistics, prepaid cards issuance and ATM operations, reconciliations, switch operations.Experience in working on Direct Banking projects and have functional expertize complemented with significant compliance/regulatory exposure, knowledge of technological aspects in the function and strong vendor negotiation and communication skills. Managed prepaid card ops, debit card operations and high volume reconciliations.
