Department/Project: Head Digital
Reporting to: CTO
Job Purpose:
Responsible for coordinating and monitoring the overall progress of all the digital initiatives, including ensuring cross-department coordination, vendor on-boarding and implementation scheduling, controlling deadlines and preparation of update reports for the senior management.
Experience:
- 10+ Years of experience in managing large scale transformation projects, preferably in manufacturing set-up
- Prior experience and knowledge of Metal and Mining operations
- Familiarity with change management principles and vendor evaluation process
Key Accountabilities: -
Change Impact Analysis
- Accepts, prioritizes, and categorizes change requests
- Conducts function and department specific analysis to identify key areas of intervention
- Develops targeted interventions to ensure business goals are clearly communicated to all levels across the organization.
- Drives user adoption of different digital platforms and technologies by conducting
Project Planning and scheduling :
- Work closely with project sponsors and process owners to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan and budget for all the digital initiatives.
- Ensure that required assistance is provided to the process owners to translate project objectives into functional targets
- Ensure scoping takes into place both financial and technical considerations, including IT system coherence.
- Ensure coordination between cross-project activities to avoid duplication of efforts.
Project Monitoring and governance :
- Develop program assessment protocols and project tracking template to monitor the progress of all initiatives
- Ensure adherence to timelines in line with the scope and deliverables of each project.
Executive-Level Reporting :
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to the senior management in regards to the program status across the project lifecycle
- Develop and report an escalation matrix in order to ensure timely reporting of any issues
Risk Assessment :
- Work with project sponsors and process owners to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
- Perform root cause analysis of various delays/deviations and arrive on corrective action for the same
Innovation :
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with the TML workforce
- Define and document big data best practices and data standards

Ideally having experience in working with companies like Jindal, Vendanta, Srikalahasthi Electrosteel, Electroterm and Rashmi metaliks (Last priority)
Key incumbent requirements :
- Bachelors degree or Master's degree in business or related field
- Preference to be given to PMP or CMP certified professionals
Required Qualification:
Graduation - Bachelor of Engineering - Bachelor of Technology (B.E./B.Tech.). in Other - Not Required Per/CGPA
