Head - Digital Transformation - Equity Derivatives Domain - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

- The incumbent will be responsible for establishing, leading and executing the digital transformation in the domain of equity derivatives and money markets.

- The incumbent will have to find new digital trends and technologies as well as innovate with the business models and products/services. The incumbent will also be responsible for carrying out the initiatives across the site location while managing a team of dedicated resources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- The EQD department is a newly created set up as a fully integrated service unit thus the candidate should come with strong domain knowledge of equity derivatives to be able to identify potential areas to look for transformation projects.

- This is an individual contributor role with a potential to create a team in the due course of time, basis the identification and execution of the projects.

- The role demands an eye for detail to be able to understand the products offered and handle the different stakeholders depending on the need of the hour.

- The incumbent will be accountable for the delivery of all the projects and handle product implementation and development within the organization including the architecture of each project

- Develop strategies and deliver progress reports, proposals and business plans.

- Demonstrated ability to lead projects on a global scale with a focus on process re engineering and process efficiency is a must.

- An understanding of Information Technology, operations and the implementation in a shared services model will be an added advantage.

- The incumbent should have an excellent understanding of the investment solutions given to corporate.

- Identifying the key trends of the digital transformation in the financial services sector.

- Transforming the underlying digital architecture of the equity derivatives field.

- Identifying the key challenges for the implementation of the digital transformation.

- Simplifying and automating the manual processes across the equity derivatives.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

- The incumbent should come with overall 5 plus years of work experience in equity derivatives.

- A fast tracker from a premium B- School.

- Experience in the areas of digitization, strategy, equity derivatives and money markets.

- Good understanding of digital technologies such as Analytics, IoT, Cloud, Mobility, AI, AR, VR, RPA.

- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders in a matrix environment.

- Knowledge of financial sector especially the corporate investment solutions with good exposure of investment banking operations

- Strategic thinker and problem solver with excellent analytical and reporting skills.

- Ability to succeed in a culture where change and speed are part of daily work.
