Job Description :
Acquire new customers to drive revenue and growth :
- Building channels (SEM, SEO, social media, display, affiliate, retargeting) to acquire new users and customers on both web and app experiences
- Plan and execute on monthly and quarterly plans to scale the user base and manage marketing spend (Working with category and digital product teams)
Metrics : Monthly users & app installs, conversion rate (Revenue, New customers)
- Increase repeat customers to drive revenue and growth:
- Building effective channels to reach existing customers to drive a high repeat business at a low cost (email, notifications, retargeting)
- Building a CRM platform and the intelligence required to create personalized and custom flows to engage with old customers to drive repeats
Metrics : Repeat revenue & repeat customers
Drive marketing efficiency by :
- Optimizing channels and campaigns for cost and performance managing both the cost of traffic and cost of acquisition
- Landing page and funnel optimization (working with revenue and digital product teams) to improve relevance and improve conversion rates
Metrics : Cost on sales, cost of customer acquisition, cost of traffic
Develop effective marketing communication by :
- Understanding product portfolio and offerings working with category teams
- Ideate & conceptualize new marketing and communication ideas resulting in marketing effectiveness
- Creating compulsive digital communication which is clutter breaking keeping in mind the brand identity. Being the custodian of the brand on the digital medium.
- Build long term digital assets such as organic search engine ranking, email subscriber base, app installs, content microsites, high performance creatives etc.
- Visualize and build the required analytics dashboardsand insight tools (working with the engineering teams)
Desired Candidate :
- Seasoned digital marketing professional with hands-on experience of growing and running digital channels- SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, retargeting, affiliate marketing, video adverts (experience required in at least 3 or 4 of these channels)
- MBA from a premier school with digital marketing experience. Overall 5 - 8 years of experience.
- Digital product management background is a plus
- Expertise in advanced analytics implementation, reporting and insights on a platform such as Google Analytics, Apsalar etc.
- Expertise in building &developing teams
- Ability to understand & appreciate the operational challenges of the business
- Willingness to work under demanding and highly performance driven work environment
- Ability to work with a cross-functional team across sales, product development, engineering and operations.
