Our client offers a subscription based service for kids that offers an inquiry and play-based program for early childhood learning at home for children. It is a startup founded by alumni from IIT, IIM and Georgia Tech that is backed by industry veterans and funded by top-tier venture capital firms. We design, develop and deliver activity kits to the homes of the subscribers every month on a subscription basis. The boxes contain all material and instructions for hands-on fun activities that children in the age group of 2-12 years can do with their parents. Over the last 4 years, the company has grown over 100% every year.
As the Digital Marketing Head, you will be responsible to segment customers, drive relevant traffic and optimize website for conversion.
You will also be responsible to push engagement and reach through Social Media, Influencer Marketing & Affiliate networks. You will have monthly budget and specific RoI deliverables.
What you will do:
- Conceptualizing and executing campaigns for Digital marketing on social media
- Planning and executing all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, Native, Social Paid Campaigns
- Designing, building and maintaining the social media presence
- Measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Identifying trends and insights, and optimizing spend and performance based on the insights
- Brainstorming new and creative growth strategies
- Solid understanding of A/B Testing methods
- Collaborating with internal teams to create landing pages and optimizing user experience
- Utilizing strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
- Instrumenting conversion points and optimizing user funnels
- Collaborating with agencies and other vendor partners
- Evaluating emerging technologies and providing thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Candidate Profile:
- MBA from tier 1 colleges preferred with 4-6 years of digital marketing execution experience in new-age start-ups
- Should have managed digital marketing spends of 3 Cr+ annually
- Experience with SEM, AdWords, Campaign Management, email, nurturing campaigns etc., is a great plus
- Ability to drive a small focussed team of 5 people on ROI based Digital Marketing
- Should have a solid understanding of customers behavior and analytics to optimize for performance
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Should be up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
