Principal Duties And Responsibilities:

- Develop strategic marketing capabilities and create capacities across various marketing functions by building teams

- The candidate will work to foster team member development and balance the delivery of work among brand right creative quality, cost efficiency, productivity and volume of work.

- Lead a team that creates, or manages the creation of different creative assets that consistently meet the needs of Companies brand and business objectives.

- Identify, research, analyze and manage risks and interdependencies within projects/systems/resource changes and formulates appropriate plans

- Relationship Management: Role includes engaging with immediate partners and marketing leaders in order to ensure alignment of business goals and strategic priorities.

- Business Development: This role includes identifying and creating new business opportunities to grow the engagement further. As part of this role, the candidate will develop, get agreements and implement ideas for new projects.

- Strategic Planning and Resource Management: This role includes the identification and efficient planning of all necessary resources involving people and technology in order to achieve business goals.

- Responsible for organizational activities like: team member engagement, retention initiatives and programs, quality initiatives, community involvement, well-being and other company wide initiatives.

- Effectively manage relationships with vendors, design schools and other partners critical to the future success of the organisation

- Represent marketing in large company-wide initiatives/forums and contribute in developing the larger India organization

- Partner with other stake-holders to ensure availability of resources and tools for teams to be successful in their jobs.

- Works with Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness and other related teams to work on talent assessment, planning, development and career pathing.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

- Experience with a large marketing/ advertising/PR firm or directly with a corporation.

- Experience in building, developing and managing large creative teams with particular emphasis on direct management and talent development/coaching

- Experience in managing a production team, not just utilizing a team with these skills.

- Skills and experience in creative development that may include photography, copywriting, publishing, graphic design and interactive development

- Pre and post production experience

Desired Requirements:

- Experience leading teams utilizing creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and interactive experience development skill sets (HTML/DHTML, Java, Action Scripting, Objective C, XML etc.)

- Experience in building teams from scratch

- Experience leading virtual/remote teams and working in a global environment

- Relationship with or participation in organizations supporting creative and design communities

- MBA or other advanced degree
