Head of DevOps,

Role and responsibilities

You will work hand-in-hand with the software development and infrastructure engineering teams to manage Criteria's worldwide development, test and production environments with an agile development, continuous integration, highly instrumented, lights-out operational paradigm. You will build, manage and lead the DevOps teams, and work cross functionally across application development, infrastructure engineering and operations teams.

Valuable skills and experience

- Recent startup experience in a management or leadership position

- 5+ years of senior network engineering in Internet, service provider or large-scale enterprise environments, with expertise managing large-scale, distributed systems and in SDN, NFV and SD-WAN architectures.

- 5+ years of software development experience and ability to write scripts and programs in languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl, Powershell, Golang and Javascript to automate the configuration, provisioning, orchestration, deployment and monitoring of our core systems.

- Ability and desire to build, manage and lead teams. Ability to work across application development, infrastructure engineering and operations teams.

- Fluency with building and managing Linux/Unix systems and working in virtualized environments, platforms and architectures such as AWS, Azure, OpenStack, CloudStack, CloudFoundry, Docker and Kubernetes

- Expertise with tools such as IDocker, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Packer, CloudFormation and Terraform.

- Ability to expertly troubleshoot issues across network and application layers

You will be working in a fast-paced environment as part of a small, agile team. You will need to wear multiple hats including helping with testing, deployment and support.

You will be based in Bangalore.
