Head - Demand Supply Planning - FMCG

This is in reference to an Opening for Head Planning with a Multi National Company into Skin Care Products.

Title:- Head Planning (Demand, Supply & Modern trade Planning)

Location:- Mumbai

Reporting to:- Supply Chain Director

Responsibilities

- Ensures effective Demand Management for the organization, ensuring that the right unconstrained demand gets ploughed into the Supply chain system for both short and medium term building proactive capability to delivery. Custodian of the S&OP process which ensures that surprises are minimized and organization’s plans are on track to ensure ABP delivery.

- Manage and develop the Supply Planning agenda with a major focus on customers (internal & external) and drive improvements in customer service performance to achieve competitive advantage.

- Delivering best in class service through defining and driving the implementation of Supply Chain development agenda, identifying best practices and implementing process improvements to meet customer requirements and drive value for India. Building relationships throughout the extended Supply Chain including worldwide supply PCs to optimize resources and manage service related costs.

- Develop and sustain best in class Supply Chain costs through Inventory (working capital) and optimal SC asset utilization.

Required Qualification:

- Education: Graduate in any Discipline with an MBA in Supply Chain Management from a premier Institute / APICS certification would be preferred.

- Overall 6-8 years of post MBA experience, preferably currently leading the Planning vertical in a reputed organization in the FMCG / FMCD space.

- An excellent working knowledge of supply chain processes and systems. An extensive understanding of Supplychain management, both operations and development and a good working knowledge of the broader supplychain industry.

- Experience in a leadership role in a mature S&OP enabled supplychain team. Indepth understanding of S&D systems.

- Excellent analytical skills, strong communication, influencing and collaborative skills.

- Outward looking with a real understanding of key customer requirements and developments.

- IT: excellent MS-Office skills, indepth understanding and working on Supply chain Planning softwares, SAP knowledge would be preferred
