Key Responsibilities:

1. Deal Origination: Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to originate debt financing transactions, including senior debt, mezzanine financing, and other structured debt products, utilizing CMA (Capital Market Authority) data and other relevant sources to inform decision-making.

2. Structuring and Execution: Lead the structuring and execution of debt financing transactions, working closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to develop optimal financing structures that align with client objectives and market conditions, while ensuring compliance with CMA regulations.

3. Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment, to evaluate the creditworthiness of borrowers, assess transaction viability, and determine appropriate terms and pricing for debt financing solutions, incorporating CMA data where applicable.

4. Due Diligence: Oversee the due diligence process for debt financing transactions, coordinating with legal, accounting, and other relevant parties to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate risks, including adherence to CMA guidelines.

5. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in their debt financing activities, while staying informed about CMA updates and regulations.

6. Market Research and Insights: Stay informed about market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments in the debt financing space, providing insights and recommendations to inform business strategy and decision-making, with particular attention to CMA data and guidelines.

7. Portfolio Management: Monitor the performance of existing debt investments, track key metrics and performance indicators, and proactively identify opportunities to optimize portfolio returns and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with CMA regulations and reporting requirements.

8. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and professional development within the debt financing practice, while promoting adherence to CMA standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- 10+ years of experience in debt financing, investment banking, private equity, or related fields, with a proven track record of originating and executing debt transactions across different industries and deal structures.

- Deep understanding of debt markets, financial instruments, and credit analysis techniques, with the ability to evaluate complex financing opportunities and navigate challenging deal dynamics.

- Strong financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools, and the ability to perform detailed financial analysis and scenario modeling.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, senior executives, and internal stakeholders.

- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience leading deal teams, managing client relationships, and driving results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CAIA are a plus.
