Head - Data Science & Machine Learning - IT

Title : Head - Data Science and Machine Learning

Location : Hyderabad

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Lead the Data Science and Machine Learning team(s), with responsibility for Building the Department Structure, Technology used and Strategy

- Work with the team(s) to identify best practices and models, train and deploy a wide variety of Data Science models (variety of neural network architectures, random forests, linear regressions, genetic algorithms etc) as well as third party models across any area requiring it where needed.

- Work with vision, sound, chat, transaction and any other datasets

- Analyse results and performance of teams and models, continually optimize existing processes

- Stay up to date on latest data science and machine learning techniques and technology

Educational Qualification / Work Experience & Skills :

- M.Tech / B.Tech with Min 15+yrs experience ,at least 5 years of experience working on complex data science problems with 5+ member teams

- Deep knowledge of Python and its Data Scientist packages

- Understanding of the hypothesis>train>deploy>optimize process of models

- Experience working on Cloud ML systems (Azure, Collaboratory or similar)

- Excellent analytical skills.

- Ability to work with and lead both established and newly formed teams, challenging and supporting them to continuously improve.

- Good ability to work remotely

- Able to work in fast moving, high pressure environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Fluent in English.

- Experience in Quantitative Monitoring or Valuation Systems

- Knowledge of game mathematics.

- Experience with the mathematics of spike modelling and how to build effective alerts

- Experience with machine vision

- Experience solving complex, new problems that have not been solved by others
