Head - Data Science/Machine Learning - eCommerce

Hiring Head - Data Science for an e-commerce client in Bangalore, India, who has strong knowledge in different areas of machine learning. Who will work on ideating new features, non-obvious modeling, identifying low effort high impact solutions and muchmore.

Role:

- Identifying & working on different areas of Machine Learning, statistics and programming skills.

- Drive continuous data culture and use data science in all possible aspects of business

- Strong in machine learning, general statistics, and data science principles.

- Should have experience in building consumer-facing products.

- Proficient in Python, R, Spark or related tools used for data handling to modeling implementing.

- Experience in developing and implementing models / algorithms in e-commerce / consumer mobile app environment is a plus.

- Leading and mentoring data scientists & subject matter experts to create innovative solutions.

PhD preferred, equivalent degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related field. 18+ years experience preferably in a consulting, analytics or operations environment with at least 5 years designing, developing, implementing and maintaining large-scale data science programs or NLP programs. Prefer candidates with international experience wanting to relocate to India.
