Head - Data Science - Internet/Online

Requirements:

Masters / PhD in CSE or a Statistics field, from a Tier 1 College

15+ Years of experience in a data science or related environment.

10+ Years of experience in providing technical leadership to the team.

Experience with capturing, managing, and processing Big Data (terabytes of data present in weblogs, documents, etc.).

Ability to translate business issues into structured analyses

Skilled in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources.

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in a statistical programming language is a must (e.g. R, SAS)

Fluency with at least one scripting language like Python, Ruby or Scala.

Knowledge of non-relational databases like MongoDB or Hadoop, query tools (e.g. Hive or Pig), familiarity with Apache frameworks like Kafka, and tools for distributed .

Computation (e.g. Spark) are highly desirable.
