Data Analytics Head

- Opportunity to work with Faircent - A leader in Peer-2-Peer Lending Space

- To be in a leadership position and create new Data Science Capabilities

Responsibilities

- Develop solutions that have a high impact on credit, financial and customer related metrics

- Responsible for building of Develop metrics and frameworks to evaluate the functioning of all parts of NBFC - marketing/sourcing, product, underwriting operations, collections, portfolio

- Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise

- Display strong storytelling and articulation skills to convert analytical output into clear, concise and persuasive insights and recommendations for technical and non-technical audience

- Work on unstructured problems, provide solutions that go beyond traditional methods - using advanced technologies and new data sources

- Working with leadership team to define the agenda for next generation analytics, using knowledge of the latest industry practices

- Developing strong capabilities of the team in Big Data, Machine Learning and Pattern mining

- Create state of the art Data Science capabilities for the business to enable informed decision making

Desired profile:

- Quality Experience of 10+ years in the domain

- Operational understanding of classical regression, statistical methods like factor analysis, Clustering and hypothesis testing and modern machine learning methods

- Credit Risk and Data Science Experience with Financial Services/ Fintech/ NBFC/BFSI companies

- Expert with Data warehouse architectures, data modelling, and data processing using distributed computing solutions

- Experience in all facets of software development life cycle like analysis, design, development, data conversion

- Previously delivered high quality projects within stipulated timelines

- Worked with developers for data product development and automation within banks/ NBFCs

- Proficiency in relevant analytic programming skills (R, Python, Excel) and willingness to work closely with large data sets and get into the details with business processes
