We are searching for Head of Data and Analytics

Qualification : B.Tech and MBA from Premier institute .

Experience: 12 to 18 years , out of witch at least 3-4 years in Capital Market

Location : Mumbai

Job Description:

- As a Head of Data & Analytics , you will be pivotal in driving a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

- You will be responsible for developing and implementing data & analytics strategies, managing a team of data engineering professionals, shaping the data architecture, building and managing data solutions, and leading data analytics initiatives across the organization.

- This role is critical in helping our company leverage data to gain a competitive advantage, optimize operations, and achieve strategic objectives.

- This hands-on leadership role that requires a deep understanding of data & cloud technologies, strong leadership skills, and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

- Set clear goals and performance expectations for the team and provide regular feedback and coaching.

Data Strategy & Vision:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive data and analytics strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.

- Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Data Engineering Leadership:

- Develop and execute a robust data engineering strategy, encompassing data collection, ingestion, transformation, and storage.

- Lead a team of data engineers to design and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure.

Data Governance and Quality:

- Establish and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.

- Oversee data quality initiatives, data cleansing, and data integration efforts.

Data Architecture and Infrastructure:

- Manage data infrastructure, including databases, data warehouses, and analytics tools.

- Collaborate with IT and Engineering teams to ensure data infrastructure is scalable and efficient.

Data Technology and Tools:

- Evaluate, recommend, and implement cutting-edge data technologies and tools to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.

Data Analysis & Insights:

- Work collaboratively with business teams to lead the development and execution of data analysis projects to derive actionable insights and support decision-making.

- Ensure data visualization and reporting tools are in place to communicate findings effectively.

Data Security & Compliance:

- Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant data protection regulations.

- Establish and maintain best practices for data security.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

- Ensure disaster recovery plans and procedures are in place for the data platform and tools to ensure business continuity during system failures or disasters.

- Ensure business uptime of Platform Infrastructure.

Vendor Management:

- Evaluate and manage relationships with cloud service providers, optimising costs and leveraging new services and features.

- Reviewing and defining SLA with various vendors, Managing and tracking of defined SLAs

Qualifications, Experience & Expertise:

- A bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Business, or a related field with above-average academic grades

- Professional certifications in data management or analytics will be highly desirable.

- A total of 12 to 18 years of experience with at least 3+ years in Capital Markets

- Proven experience in data engineering, data analytics, and data strategy development.

- Strong engineering management background with expertise in data tools and technologies such as data warehouses, data lakes, ETL, and data visualization tools.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

- Prior experience in building and leading data engineering and analytics teams

Location:

Mumbai. They do support flexible timings for fostering a balance between in-person collaboration and the convenience of tailoring work hours to individual needs.
