Position Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven D2C and E-Commerce Head to spearhead our online sales channels. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and profitability through strategic planning, team development and innovative marketing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in D2C and e-commerce management, with a strong focus on revenue generation and profit maximization.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Strategic Leadership:

a) Develop and execute comprehensive D2C and e-commerce strategies aligned with overall business goals.

b) Identify growth opportunities and market trends to drive revenue and profitability.

c) Lead the planning and implementation of new e-commerce initiatives and projects.

d) Build out and own the commercial planning of all e-commerce business, working closely with cross-functional teams and external brand e-commerce agencies to unlock both revenue and profit opportunities.

2) Team Development:

a) Build and lead a high-performing D2C and e-commerce team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

b) Mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential and drive departmental success.

c) Set clear performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.

3) Revenue and Profit Management:

a) Set and achieve ambitious revenue targets while maintaining or improving profit margins.

b) Optimize pricing strategies, product assortments and promotional activities to maximize sales and profitability.

c) Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure business objectives are met.

4) Customer Experience:

a) Enhance the online customer journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience.

b) Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve products and services.

c) Develop and execute customer retention and loyalty programs.

d) Advocate for the needs of our customers and provide insights on site traffic and merchandising performance.

5) Marketing and Sales:

a) Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective digital marketing campaigns.

b) Leverage data-driven insights to refine targeting, segmentation and personalization strategies.

c) Utilize SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media and other channels to drive traffic and sales.

d) Work closely with Marketing teams to establish and manage website forecasting, merchandising, project management and planning.

6) Operational Excellence:

a) Oversee the end-to-end e-commerce operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment and customer service.

b) Ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics and supply chain processes.

c) Implement best practices in e-commerce platform management and user experience optimization.

d) Analyze site metrics and related data to identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.

7) Cross-functional Collaboration:

a) Collaborate with marketing, operations, finance, sales and customer service to drive the success of the e-commerce business.

b) Improve the e-commerce experience and feature sets by evaluating new payment solutions, customer communication tools, mobile solutions, merchandising tools and other enhancements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Experience and Exposure Required

- Proven experience (8+ years) in D2C and e-commerce leadership roles, with a focus on revenue growth and profitability.

- Exposure to Account Management is a plus.

- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing and online sales strategies.

- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding business goals.

- Experience in preparing Annual Operating Plans and Sales Plans.

- Strong presentation skills and ability to lead business review discussions.

- Understanding of finance, warehousing and IT operations.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
