Channel Head - Ecommerce (Amazon)
Domnic Lewis has been mandated to hire for Channel Head - Amazon Ecommerce for a D2C company
Responsibilities:
Channel Management:
- Lead and execute all aspects of channel management on the Amazon platform.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize product visibility, drive traffic, and increase sales.
P&L Management:
- Take ownership of the P&L for the Amazon channel, setting and achieving revenue and profitability targets.
- Analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to maximize growth opportunities on Amazon, including product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at Amazon, including account managers and category teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for channel initiatives.
Market Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior on Amazon to identify opportunities and threats.
- Utilize data and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of channel management professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Set clear goals and objectives, provide regular feedback, and support professional development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- MBA Tier 1 Mandatory
- Proven experience in Amazon channel management
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in P&L management
