Designation: Asst. Director (Head of Cyber Security Operations)
Reports to Global Head of Cyber Security and Data Protections
- This role will be responsible for maintaining and improving the information security posture of the organization. This includes the data that is stored and/or transmitted by the organization.
- This shall include, but not be limited to, data related to and in enterprise applications, desktops, mobile devices and cloud-based instances.
- The role will also be responsible for coordinating and responding to security events and incidents in a controlled manner using industry-best practices to restore the business to normal use.
- The person will be expected to be the security champion who edifies security and educates others on best-security practices. This person who fills this role will collaborate with the organization to enable the business to function yet doing so in a secure and orderly manner.
- An individual doesn't rely on a team who can own, build, and implement the security operations program.
- Someone who can implement the tools themselves and who is proactive to identify an area for improvement, research tools, run the POC, select the tool and convince the management why it's the right tool. Then implement it, train the rest of IT how to use it and turn it over to production/operations.
