Silverpeople is hiring for Head - Consumer Analytics - Bangalore for a Fortune 500 - Retail company in India

Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and interpretation: in-terms of business & working with brand teams to make required changes
- Build advanced models that turn the data into insights for intra as well as inter function decisions.
- Undertake a transformational-change program so that the insights translate into effective action for company.
- Business impact: using Predictive Business Intelligence template:
- Provide analytical and technical guidance during new activities and projects.
- Conduct monthly deep dives on product performance (B2C & B2B).
- Provide thought leadership on best practices related to e-commerce measurement and testing, segmentation methodologies, customer profile elements, and predictive models.
- Support the development of customer-centric business and loyalty marketing strategies and analyses.
- Leverage internal learning, benchmarks and category/business knowledge to provide a bigger picture context to analysis.
Must Haves (Please do not apply if you do not have these must-haves)
- Involved with analytics in eCommerce/retail industry is must
- Must have understanding of the data structure and part of the team which has built BI framework.
- Must have understanding of the business implication and ability to suggest changes and interact with the development and product team to build changes.
- Must have an understanding of Website personalization and the impact of the same on ROI of business so that monitoring and improvements are also taken care
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of analytical, statistical and Business Intelligence tools Pentaho or similar tools desirable
- Strategic and analytical with ability to synthesize and organize data/information into actionable recommendations with clear customer and shareholder impact
