Job Description - The incumbent will be responsible to drive and develop technology strategy & strengthen IT governance, while leading a team of 30-35 seasoned engineers. This role requires a hands on people leader, who is comfortable leading a medium sized team.

Description

- Responsible for technology within the India setup: Engineering (Frontend, Backend, Data), IT Operations (App-Support and Data Center), as well as Security/CISO

- In partnership with the Senior Management team, identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company's services

- Provide leadership to the Technology team (in-house and outsourced)

- Establish an agile DevOps collaboration mindset

- Rework and enhance the current legacy platform and transform into a state of the art setup

- Monitor and implement enterprise-wide disaster recovery, business continuity

- Work closely with multiple domestic and international counterparts

Profile

- 12+ years of overall experience with hands-on exposure in tech / product companies

- Hands on experience in technology for engineering and operations - mobile, web, backend applications

- Tech Stack: Oracle DB and Java-Webservice layer (must haves)

- Strong (people) leadership experience in agile DevOps driven organizations

- Developing technology strategy and willingness to rework and enhance the current legacy platform and transform into a state of the art setup

- Experience managing globally distributed teams
