Corporate Relations Head
- Our client is a EdTech startup that enables every person to pursue a career of their preference by training them in careers across content, visual arts, design, business, finance and thus enabling them to become entrepreneurs, financial analysts, writers and more. Through these years, our client has trained lakhs of students across various career paths.
- Headquartered in Bangalore, our client was co-founded by a team of four young veteran entrepreneurs who were all specially mentioned by 'Forbes 30 under 30'. They focus on their online programs conducted by young professionals and educators who have made a mark in their fields as published authors, young entrepreneurs, investors etc. They have been funded by tier 1 investors and have recently raised $3M in funding.
- As a Corporate Relations Head, you will be building relationships with the best employers in India to place 15000 learners on a Pan India basis across jobs, internships and freelance gigs in the next 6-9 months.
What you will do :
- Setting up the entire roadmap and strategy for our employer partnership by setting the right processes, hiring the right people and building the right networks across mentors, learners, and corporates
- Scaling the partnerships and engagements using social media levers such as LinkedIn
Desired Candidate Profile :
What you need to have :
- 5-7 years of experience in education/edtech industry, University placements or non-technical recruitment in a managerial or leadership capacity
- Strong networks and relationships and a network amongst corporates to rely upon
- Proficiency in setting up processes that have scaled the placement cell of a University or the qualitative hiring process in an organization on a Pan India basis
- Experience in building and nurturing a team of 6-10 members to perform at its best
- Work experience with freelancers and consultants and other partners and leveraging their skills and networks to deliver results
- A strong result orientation and proficiency in producing measurable results, meeting deadlines and working on multiple priorities
- Ability to build rapport and credibility with external customers and internal stakeholders across the organization
- A natural agility and flexibility in the face of fast changing and undefined situations
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
- Willingness to travel to interact with potential employer partners across India
- Prior experience in the education sector, specifically in placement enabling roles, is preferred
