Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Review, improve and implement existing Quality processes and procedures and KPIs to ensure it is aligned to create highest product quality and highest customer service.
- Drive improvements in all areas of operations, focusing on key performance indicators and key divisional processes.
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide adequate support for account management.
- Support plants as necessary with root cause analysis, problem solving and drive consistent improvements.
- Assist plants with the deployment of corporate quality policies, auditing practices and ensuring adherence to company's Quality and Regulatory strategies in accordance with the established strategic plan.
- Assist plants with deployment and implementation of customer requirements and specifications as applicable; serve as escalation point for all customer issues for the respective accounts.
- Ensure communication between plants and sharing of best practices and lessons learnt - for consistent customer support and representation for global accounts.
Essential Behavioral Competence Requirements:
- Seasoned and competent Quality professional with over 20+ years of experience; of which at least 3-5 years have been in Quality leadership roles.
- Extensive experience with auto component manufacturing companies; preferably having a high volume-low value product portfolio.
- Significant experience in turnaround strategies for quality improvement as well as leading wins for Quality Awards / Certifications.
- Qualified engineer with certifications in relevant quality systems - ISO / TS / IATF / Six Sigma etc.
- Total Quality Management Professional (TQMP) brining hands-on experience of leading TQM, Manufacturing Excellence implementation in an organisation.
- Experience of working with organisations having a 'quality culture' and relentless focus on manufacturing and process excellence.
- Cross functional exposure to manufacturing and other operations related functions would be considered valuable.
- Well networked and connected in the Quality fraternity and industry circles.
- Seasoned, qualified and passionate Quality leader bringing hands-on experience of driving the change towards creation of an organization wide 'quality culture'. Strong communicator, collaborator and relationship builder who can lead through influence.
- Unquestionable integrity and work ethics.
- Very strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to develop and deliver impactful presentations (Power Point).
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with ability to develop deep relationships with customers and plant level teams.
- Capable of leading and driving change, coupled with the knack of influencing without authority.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic and entrepreneurial Family Owned business environment; with keen stakeholder management capability.
- Driven and motivated individual with a solution-oriented approach.
