Reporting to the VP – HR , this role has key responsibility for managing day-to-day activity within the Comp & Bens team, as well as supporting on annual processes and ad hoc projects.
Head Corporate Operations - responsibilities/accountabilities:
- Experience in Designing & implementation of Org Structure with alignment to business
- Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals.
- Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
- Development and implementation of the reward strategy to include: salary benchmarking, pension arrangements, benefits management and annual compensation events such as bonus and salary review.
- Business expert in all matters relating to CABs, advising senior managers and the HR team on all issues
- Implement and monitor performance management system
- Oversee their firm's performance evaluation system
- Design reward systems such as pay-for-performance plans
- Salary and benefit against internal and external market
- Reporting on identified salary and benefits surveys as necessary
- Supporting annual salary review process
- Bonus planning, design, review and administration
- Support as necessary for the day to day operation of the employee Benefits portfolio, working with third party benefit suppliers on issues such as healthcare, pensions, company cars and risk benefits.
- Acting as internal advisor on all projects/initiatives with a compensation & benefits impact involving interaction with staff at all levels from administration staff to senior business leaders
- Liaison with top management. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans
Head Corporate Operations - skills/essentials:
- Past proven compensation and benefits experience within a commercial organization including salary surveys, salary reviews, bonuses and management of benefits
- Strong numerical and analytical skills is a necessity
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of compensation & benefits reporting tools
- Capable of working on own projects and taking responsibility for work load
- Ability to work in a complex challenging and sensitive environment
- Highly commercial and able to align reward policy to business objectives
