Head - Corporate Insurance

We have been mandated for a large global conglomerate for the position Head Corporate Insurance.

Head Insurance has independent charge of the portfolio and is expected to drive cost effective insurance coverage of assets and liabilities incurred, across multiple locations.

- He needs to understand the risk profile of the Business and explore and evaluate risk covers available. 

- He needs to work with business owners across locations to increase insurance awareness and improve claim collection efficiency. 

- The Head is also expected to strengthen the insurance buying process in line with the company standards, ensuring efficiency and transparency to create value. Many of these improvements will include automation and digitisation.

The Head will have a team of 2-3 people and he needs to build and manage a motivated team. 

Key Result Area:

- To ensure cost effective insurance of the company's assets and liabilities.

- To strengthen processes and controls in insurance buying line with the company governance standards and procurement processes.

- To improve overall claim collection efficiency.

- To understand market practices and risk covers available to drive improvements in risk coverage.

- To build and manage a motivated and experienced team .

Qualification:

- CA/ICWA/MBA or Engineering Graduate with additional qualification experience in insurance area.
