The role incumbent, as Head - Corporate Functions, Chennai is specifically responsible for:
Change Management
- Promote a culture of constant monitoring and evaluation; questioning the status-quo and client focus/centricity across the perimeter. Contribute to innovation initiatives in the BL.
- Collate and analyze metrics. Utilize metrics to influence efficiencies and improvement efforts across Chennai location, driving an environment of continuous improvement in an efficient and cost effective manner. Monitor progress of continuous improvement initiatives and take appropriate corrective actions when required. Establish a strong process of Go & See and White Boarding in CFG, Chennai team.
- Contribute to CFG global strategic transformation programs. Help your team identify areas of contribution to CFG Roadmap
- Ideate, seek and collate feedback from employees of your team and CFG on GSC roadmap: Identify the opportunities for contribution to the transformation programs in the perimeter and convert them into actionable initiatives
Delivery and Operational Objectives:
- Act as the CFG Point of Contact for other BLs on all transversal topics for CFG services
- Liaise with the CFG BL EXCO to ensure smooth service delivery of all CFG offerings to the location
- Ensure proper follow-up of the business initiatives and support the BL EXCO in driving business agenda in the location. Coordinate and direct the BL's Roadmap in the location set-up with the help of identified people
- Work in conjunction with department heads & HRBP on human resource strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating; following through recruitment & selection, orientation, training programs; career management with each functional leader
- Ensure a smooth and homogenous communication on all CFG initiatives being driven across locations.
- Ensure that the right level of communication is spread across the teams and the sufficient information is cascaded down to the various functional leads
- Assist the location Head and CFG BL EXCO in organizing Executive committees, governance meetings ; formalize & follow-up of the CFG Roadmap & action plan
- Ensure a close monitoring of the budget and in particular foster - Cost Control- and - Performance monitoring- culture within the location
Qualifications
Strong Academic background in Business Operations and an MBA.
Knowledge of project management is preferred.
Experience and strong knowledge of managing a function composed of diverse transversal functions in a matrix organizational structure
Successful customer service track record and the ability to foster a service oriented work environment
