Head - Corporate Finance - Chemical Manufacturing

About our client :

Our client is a leading manufacturer of chemicals with a global presence

Purpose of the role :

Overall functioning of the finance and accounts department

Your responsibilities will include :

Working capital banking :

- Determining financial objectives for the firm, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures in consultation with the top management; managing and closely monitoring the cash flow and taking necessary actions to improve Net Working Capital

Project funding:

- Controlling the execution of the project by defining Project Plan along with project milestones delivery and maintain compliance and internal controls

- Administering the expense budgeting/forecasting processes with Measurement & Planning; augmenting the performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies

Financial institution:

- Raising funds through External Commercial Borrowing (ECB), Financial Documentation & security creation amongst consortium Bankers

- Execution/Renewal of banking facilities with various operational banks.

- Negotiations with financial institutions for loans and credit facilities

- Return and reports with respect to (ECB) with RBI.

Forex Management :

- Allocation of funds towards vendor payments & investment decisions

- Regular review and preparation of foreign currency cash flows in order to take hedging decisions in relation to Forwards contracts - Execution, Cancellation and Rollover.

- Availing and Utilising Buyers Credit facility

Business analysis and valuations :

- Monitoring and controlling overall projects through budgeting, variance analysis and commercial part related to finance.

- Valuing business through various methods

- Business forecasting

- Analysis of peer group companies

- M&A related activities

- Analysis and due diligence

Ideal candidate :

As an ideal candidate your a qualified MBA- Finance/CA with 10+ years of experience in corporate finance.
