To truly realize this vision, the University is creating its key unique proposition around building a very strong profile of industry-academia partners, who will closely mentor, advise and shape the University's offerings in line with latest industry needs and trends.

In this role, you will support the University in building, nurturing and expanding these industry-academia partnerships in alignment with our vision. You will also set-up and lead the growth of our career development/placement cell responsible to provide internships and job opportunities to the students. Success in this role will be determined by the value that the partnership profile and career development cell of the University built under your leadership is adding to student's learning outcomes and employability.

At the heart of this role, one will spend a typical day strategically managing the University's priority stakeholder base - industry and academia partners as well as any other advisors at program or university level. With a thorough understanding of the University's goals and strong eccentricity towards a potential partner, you will form the bridge that makes the two ends meet to a strategic outcome. Success in this position requires strong senior-client (CXOs) orientation, communication, account management and expansion skills.

Role & Responsibility

External Engagement :

- Create high-value industry connects to expand the University's representation in targeted corporate and academic cohorts

- Identify potential institutional partners for the University in alignment with its vision and evolving strategic plans

- Identify the strategic importance of a potential partnership and accordingly define the targeted scope of partnership. The partners may be institutions or individuals basis need of specific programs.

- Develop customized connect strategy and support collaterals (e.g., pitch presentations, concept notes etc.) with the objective to drive partner engagement and progressively expand scope of partnership as per desired objectives

- Ensure strong co-working mechanisms between all partners such that scope of work for each partnership is delivered with high quality and professionalism

- Nurture and strategically expand the University's partnership portfolio with the goal of strengthening the industry-academia collaboration

- Build a core Advisory group for the university overall and for specific programs as necessary and work closely with all advisors on setting scope of support and executing against that agenda.

- Through the external engagement, select efforts towards fundraising for the university to also be undertaken until such time and scale of the university's growth where dedicated additional teams are set-up for such purpose .

Placement :

- Lead the setting-up and growth of the University's career development cell through relevant corporate outreach

- Facilitate on-campus job and internship opportunities; Identify and leverage synergies with partners towards expending the opportunity set available for students

- Develop and lead execution of an annual career development and preparation calendar including events such as job fairs, preparation workshops, expert lecturers, upskilling on soft skills and interviews/ entrance exam needs etc. to support student preparation

Experience & Qualification Required

- 25+ years of experience in consulting, fund-raising, start-ups, client/business development, account management and financial services

- Strong networking, stakeholder management, client orientation and business development skills

- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing excellent professional relationships

- Strong exposure to growth strategy and expansion related projects

- Experience of having worked closely and successfully collaborated with CXO-level professionals

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
