Role : Leadership/Top Management for a Bank in Zambia

- There is a high-profile leadership opportunity at a prominent bank based in Zambia, East Africa. We are looking for a seasoned banking professional to join our top management team. Below are the key details of the position :

Key Qualifications and Experience :

- Proven Experience : Around a minimum of 18/20+ years in the banking sector, specifically in SME/MME and business banking.

- Strategic Leadership : Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking and leading large teams towards achieving business goals.

- Formulate sales strategies for products related to the Corporate and Commercial unit.

- Responsible for the growth of the Corporate and Commercial Business ensuring both income and portfolio growth targets are achieved

- Provide leadership in areas of expertise, particularly in the structuring of credits.

- Regularly identify, measure, monitor and control the overall levels of risks in the Corporate and Commercial business

Team Motivation : Proven track record of motivating and guiding teams to excel in a dynamic banking environment.

- Responsible for the Performance management of all Corporate and Commercial Banking staff ensuring effective target setting, monitoring and correct performance measures are done .

Leadership Abilities : Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on ethical decision-making, innovation, and a forward-thinking approach.
