This is an overseas opportunity with a leading bank.

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic leader to head the Corporate Banking division for our client.

This position reports directly to the CEO and offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of the corporate banking business.

Ideal Knowledge, Expertise and Experience:.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in the banking industry, including at least 5 years in strategic marketing and lending.

Current experience leading Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) and/or Mid-Market Enterprise (MME) business for a defined geographic area within a bank.

Proven experience managing both assets and liabilities.


Strategic Leadership:


- Develop and implement the overall strategic direction for the Corporate Banking business, aligning with the bank's overall strategic objectives.


- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new product development, market expansion, and client acquisition.


- Conduct market analysis and competitor assessments to identify key trends and opportunities.


- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.


Business Development & Client Management:


- Lead business development efforts, including identifying and pursuing new client relationships.


- Manage existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.


- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations.


- Oversee the delivery of high-quality banking services to corporate clients, including lending, treasury management, and trade finance.


Team Leadership & Management:


- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of corporate bankers, credit analysts, and other professionals.


- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.


- Recruit, train, and mentor team members, ensuring their professional development and growth.


- Oversee the performance management and compensation of team members.


Financial Performance:


- Drive revenue growth and profitability within the Corporate Banking business.


- Manage credit risk effectively, ensuring the safety and soundness of the bank's loan portfolio.


- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective action as needed to achieve business objectives.


- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
