Job Purpose:
- He is responsible for all aspects of the corporate to serve as the primary liaison between the company and various government entities at both Central and State levels, ensuring strategic alignment, regulatory compliance, and favorable policy outcomes.
- Facilitate effective communication, build strong relationships, and advocate for the company's interests within the complex landscape of governmental regulations and policies.
- Provide strategic counsel to management, navigate regulatory challenges, and contribute to enhancing the company's image and operational success through proactive engagement with governmental authorities and stakeholders.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Liasoning with various Central government ministries like Ministry of Finance, Central Insecticide PPQS, Commerce Ministry, Environment Ministry, Chemical, DIPP, Ministry of Agrochemical, Petrochemical, Coal, Agriculture, Tribal Ministry, Central Insecticide Board, Pollution control Board, DIC, PESO, local Panchayat & other local bodies etc. Board (CIB), Commerce Ministry, Environment Ministry, Chemical, DIPP, Petrochemical, Coal, Agriculture, Tribal Ministry etc.
- Interaction with State and Central Government Departments / Senior Officials for new initiatives for the company / sector.
- Liasoning with Government machinery and established a good working relationship with the various departments and bureaucrats to speed up decisions /permissions affecting the company / sector; resolve issues / push for changes.
- Identify, develop, and maintain a network of qualified local contacts in Government, business links, leads and agents.
- Liasoning with the top officials of Government of India. - Maintaining Central level coordination, Government/Public Affairs, Regulatory Development, Policy, Public Relations, Corporate Affairs & liaison activities and reporting directly to the Management.
- Trusted Advisor & Strategic Counselor to the Management. Dealing and handling with Secretariat/Government/Political and Social State level issues.
- Built strong, trustworthy relationships with Governmental authorities that help enhance the company's image and solve various company issues and needs.
