Head - Contract Manufacturing

Purpose of the role:

We are looking for a highly experienced Head of Contract Manufacturing to lead our efforts in liaising with leading dairy and FMCG companies. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the dairy and FMCG sectors, with a strong ability to connect with C-suite executives and close commercial deals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary liaison with leading dairy and FMCG companies, focusing on establishing and nurturing CxO-level connections.

- Develop a deep understanding of product processing and business commercials within the dairy industry.

- Lead negotiations and successfully close commercial agreements with C-suite executives of FMCG brands.

- Oversee and manage contract manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.

- Drive strategic initiatives in private labels, white labels, and the broader FMCG sector, particularly in dairy products.

- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize manufacturing processes and achieve business targets.

Qualification & Experience:

- 15-20 years of experience in the FMCG sector, with a strong focus on dairy products and private/white label management.

- A degree from the National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) or the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) is required.

- Demonstrated success in closing deals with C-suite executives in FMCG companies.

- Experience with multinational corporations (MNCs) is highly preferable.

- In-depth product knowledge and understanding of the processing side of the business.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
