Job Description - As the Head of Content, you will be responsible for scaling of the team and adding to the overall growth of the company.

You must have proficiency in reading, writing and speaking either Tamil, Punjabi or Malayalam.

Client Details :

Our client is a well funded and a profitable content and discovery app that provides news and other trending content and is one of the highest rated news app on Google Play Store.

They are now expanding to Tier-II and Tier-III markets with a new interesting social network video product as a part of their growth story.

Description :

- Will be responsible for managing and guiding the team and ensuring a systematic working of the team.

- Have to look after the scaling of the team and adding to the overall growth of the company.

- Ensuring importance of the news videos and making sure it is appropriate for the app

- Monitor speed performance and address any issues that arise

- Assessing which videos/stories are notifications worthy and can be sent to the users.

Please note that this is a leadership and a team management role that would focus on growth and increasing the profitability of the business and will manage a team that would focus on the execution.

Profile :

- Should have leadership qualities

- Strong command over the language

- A collaborative spirit, and the ability to work across departments.

- Sound logical skills

- Prioritising news video/articles based on their importance, time sensitivity, location

- General awareness of News

- Good at spotting mistakes

- Experience of 10 years+

- Must have proficiency in reading, writing and speaking either Tamil, Punjabi or Malayalam
