Job Title: Head of Content Marketing | B2B SaaS
We are looking for a Head of Content Marketing to lead and scale our content initiatives. This role is ideal for a strategic content leader with a deep understanding of B2B SaaS marketing, audience engagement, and SEO-driven growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the leadership team to create quarterly KPIs and goals for the content team.
2. Own and execute the company's global content strategy across all channels to drive user acquisition and engagement.
3. Build the Aftershoot blog into a premier hub for photography education and industry insights.
4. Oversee in-house or freelance writers and editors to scale content production for the Aftershoot Blog and monthly newsletter.
5. Ideate, create, and publish templates, guides, ebooks, and more that would help achieve the content KPIs and target goals.
6. Forge tight-knit collaborations with internal teams, including marketing, design, and product, to ensure content echoes our brand messaging and objectives.
7. Work hand in hand with our product marketing team to generate content spotlighting Aftershoot and its tailored features for professional photographers.
8. Develop comprehensive content playbooks for each channel, ensuring brand consistency while optimizing for platform-specific best practices
9. Coordinate seamlessly with our performance marketing and social media squads to synchronize content endeavors with paid media and organic social strategies targeted at professional photographers.
10. Drive user acquisition through strategic content initiatives, owning KPIs around content-driven growth.
11. Leverage data and analytics to gauge content performance, pinpoint improvement opportunities, and refine our content strategy accordingly.
12. Oversee content calendars and workflows to ensure punctual delivery of content projects and campaigns.
13. Create and maintain a unified content calendar in collaboration with social media and video teams to strategically amplify key messages across channels for maximum impact
14. Ensure brand voice consistency across all content channels while adapting tone and style to suit each platform's unique characteristics
15. Nurture and fortify relationships with external partners, influencers, and industry authorities to amplify the reach and resonance of our content.
16. Develop channel-specific content guidelines and best practices to maintain quality standards across all platforms
17. Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings to generate fresh ideas and approaches for content initiatives.
18. Continuously refine and enhance our monthly content marketing newsletter to better engage and cater to professional photographers.
Ideal Candidate:
1. 8+ years of experience in content marketing, writing, editing, journalism, or a related field.
2. Proven track record of scaling content programs that drive traffic, engagement, and revenue.
3. Expertise in SEO, content analytics, and performance-driven content marketing.
4. Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, WordPress, Pardot, and Canva.
5. Strong editorial and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
6. Experience in managing teams and collaborating cross-functionally.
