Responsibilities
The Head of Content will oversee all the activities of the content department, and be the direct supervisor of the Content Editor, Senior Content Editors, Content Marketer, and Senior Content Marketer, Associates, etc. This includes topic generation, as well as working closely with the content team in the creation of excellent day-to-day experiences for the customers, employees, and relevant stakeholders.
The Head of Content must:
1. Work with the VP of Marketing and Head of Brand to build and implement an integrated content strategy for the company
2. Liaise with relevant internal teams; Product, Tech, HR, Finance, and Legal to ensure editorial guidelines are being implemented and followed.
3. Structure, manage and guide the company's content team
4. Design and implement measurement systems to analyze, optimize, and communicate the performance of all content.
5. Discharge all duties, keeping in mind that all content efforts must align and further the company's brand and mission.
Profile
1. Domain expertise: 6-9 years of relevant work experience in a similar role for a B2B SaaS company.
2. Strong research orientation to validate the topics central to the content strategy.
3. Exceptional spoken and written English skills along with excellent interpersonal skills; collaborative skills, time consciousness, organization and multitasking skills along with strong skills for prioritization.
4. Excellent people skills that will dictate the tone of liaisons with media professionals, customers, prospects and most importantly the team itself.
5. Strong leadership skills to not only guide and grow the content team but also to liaise with internal departments and committees to ensure content deliveries are completed and unified with the vision of the company.
6. Tech-savvy to not only understand the workings of content management systems and tools but also to understand the company's products and liaise with the relevant technical departments
