Head - Consumer Recovery - Stressed Assets Management

Position summary:

The candidate shall be responsible for managing the stressed assets portfolio pertaining to retail segments viz, Business Banking, Corporate Agri Business loans, the portfolios assigned to various ARCs and ensuring incremental recovery from the pool. This role involves strategizing and executing recovery plans, negotiating & dealing with external and internal stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to maximize recoveries and adhere to compliances.

KRAs:

a) Formulate and execute recovery plans for stressed and non-performing assets, such as legal actions, sale of assets, restructuring etc.

b) Leading a large team of recovery managers

c) Engage with borrowers, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to negotiate settlements and restructurings.

d) Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

e) Prepare and present reports on the stressed loans to senior management and regulatory authorities

Professional Qualification and experience:

a) MBA or Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent post graduate professional degree.

b) Minimum of 12-14 years of experience in stressed asset management, recovery

c) Track record of managing stressed and non-performing assets in a Bank, ARC or NBFC

Skills & knowledge:

a) In-depth knowledge of recovery strategies for stressed/ NPA loans in non-individual segment

b) Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to stressed asset management

c) Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
