Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Conduct material takeoffs and create comprehensive construction estimates.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial viability and adherence to budget constraints.
- Craft detailed construction project management plans, outlining timelines, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.
- Oversee the construction schedule, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Procurement & Contract Management:
- Source and negotiate with general contractors and subcontractors to secure profitable construction contracts.
- Manage all aspects of procurement, ensuring timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and resources.
Inventory & Resource Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory of tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Effectively allocate and manage construction materials, labor, and equipment to optimize project efficiency.
- Oversee resource logistics to ensure timely delivery and availability on site.
Communication & Reporting:
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Generate comprehensive status reports, keeping stakeholders informed of project progress, potential issues, and milestones achieved.
Site Management & Quality Control:
- Oversee the performance of the general contractor, site manager, and other construction team members.
- Ensure compliance with building permits, licenses, and all relevant codes and regulations.
- Uphold the highest standards for health, safety, and environmental practices throughout the construction process.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project completion.
- Strong understanding of construction management best practices, methodologies, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in project management software, cost estimating tools, and construction management software programs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of construction codes and regulations
