Head - Construction

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Construction to oversee our residential projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supervising residential construction from the real estate company side and possess strong project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day supervision of residential construction projects, ensuring timely and quality completion.

- Serve as the Project Manager or Site-In-charge for multistory residential projects with a Built-Up Area (BUA) of at least 6 lacs sq.ft or project costs of Rs 150 Crores.

- Coordinate with consultants, sub-consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure seamless project execution.

- Manage and resolve any construction-related issues that arise on-site.

- Ensure compliance with all construction activities related to residential building projects.

- Provide on-ground leadership and supervision for greenfield projects.

- Utilize knowledge of civil engineering products and suppliers to manage supply chain and procurement processes.

- Prepare and maintain project schedules using MS Projects and AutoCAD.

- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations on-site.

- Report project status to senior management and stakeholders regularly.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Site-In-charge for multistory residential projects with a BUA of at least 6 lacs sq.ft or project costs of Rs 150 Crores.

- Strong coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with consultants, sub-consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors.

- Previous experience with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) is an added advantage.

- Comprehensive knowledge of construction activities related to residential building projects.

- Hands-on experience with greenfield projects is preferred.

- Familiarity with civil engineering products, suppliers, and supply chain management.

- Proficiency in MS Projects and AutoCAD.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Must be below the age of 45 years.
