Head - Compliance - NBFC

- Managing the credit business compliance and providing support to the team to ensure compliance.

- Assessing the compliance risks faced by the business and to ensure that the functions appropriately manage those risks.

- Disseminating regulations to business and support functions and providing ongoing advisory services to ensure that the NBFC operates in accordance with all regulatory and legal requirements and corporate office compliance standards.

- Overseeing and monitoring the implementation of the compliance program.

- Correspondence with the regulators RBI, AML,FEMA regulator etc.

- Provide compliance opinions to the users on applicability of regulatory laws in relation to activities of the NBFC.

- Preparing and presenting clear and concise compliance reports to the management

- Promoting a compliance culture.

- Providing guidance, advice, and/or training and educational programs, to improve business' understanding of related laws and regulatory requirements.

- Coordinating and participating in the development of measures to increase compliance focus in business. Forming, maintaining and controlling the system of internal control and compliance management, system for correction of identified violations.

- Perform regular and comprehensive compliance reviews and Internal Control oversight.

- Review and regular update of policies and procedures in view of new regulations including compliance manuals.

- Independently investigating and acting on matters related to compliance. Regular reporting to the Managing Director and Group Compliance on incidents of control breaches and corrective action required.

- To act as principal interface between the Business and RBI on all banking matters. To manage the relationship with the regulators namely RBI, FEMA, AML authorities etc.

- To obtain approvals / licenses / certifications from regulatory bodies such as RBI's approval for key appointment, Opening of new Branch, Branch shifting and RBI's certification of new product offering wherever needed.
