Greetings from Global Headhunters – an executive search firm promoted by IIM alumni.

Our client is an established financial services firm straddling Institutional Equities, Commodity Trading, Wealth Management, and Investment Banking.

They invite applications from candidates with experience in handling the legal, compliance as well as secretarial functions to be based at their corporate office in Mumbai. The position reports to the COO and involves leading a team drawn from the Legal, Compliance and Secretarial divisions.

Ideal candidate profile:
1. Should be a qualified Company Secretary along with a degree in Law.

2. Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in a firm within the financial services industry is required (Broking/AMC sectors would be preferred).

3. Should have experience in handling secretarial issues of a listed corporate under Companies Act

4. Current responsibilities must also include legal and compliance issues. Familiarity with legal aspects pertaining to capital markets (ex SEBI, FCRA etc) would be considered highly relevant.
