Head - Compensation & Benefits - Stock Broking Firm
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies that support the organization's goals and enhance employee satisfaction.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Compensation Management:
- Design and manage base salary structures, variable pay programs, and incentive plans.
- Oversee job evaluations and salary surveys to ensure equitable and competitive compensation practices.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to address complex compensation issues and provide recommendations.
Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness benefits.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to benefits administration.
- Manage relationships with benefits vendors and service providers to ensure effective service delivery.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation and benefits regulations.
- Prepare and present compensation and benefits reports to senior management and the board of directors.
- Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance of compensation and benefits programs.
Employee Communication and Engagement:
- Develop communication strategies to inform employees about compensation and benefits programs.
- Address employee inquiries and concerns regarding compensation and benefits in a timely and effective manner.
- Promote programs that enhance employee engagement and retention.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of compensation and benefits professionals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
