About our Client - Our client is a leading MNC Bank providing a wide range of financial services across corporate, investment and retail banking. With a strong global presence and a strong foothold in the APAC and Indian market, they are looking for a VP Talent Acquisition to lead recruitment for their Technology practice in India.
Job Description - Reporting into the VP - Compensation and Benefits JAPA, your responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with our HR Business Partner team as well as with external consultants, vendors and internal partners to ensure that C&B investments, program/plan design, oversight and governance of our programmes meet business objectives
- Supporting the India / JAPA remit, the role will also be a key partner in setting the global C&B agenda and delivering global programmes
- Development; implementation and communication of benefit plans in India that include benefit programs, retirement plans, company cars and wellbeing programs.
- Act as a thought leader and advisor on compensation to regional business leaders and HR business partners
- Guide the regional development and implementation of employee compensation, incentive and recognition programs.
- Provide tactical support to business leaders and HR Business partners on core compensation activities and processes such as external hire offers
- Keep up to date with market best practice and use this knowledge to shape the regional agenda
- Represent the region in global team forums and projects, providing a local perspective to help ensure robust global solutions
- Guide the development and implementation of region-wide employee compensation, incentive and recognition programs.
- Continuously work to improve the regional compensation infrastructure and processes; provide related communication and education to diverse audiences
- Support annual salary review process, including merit, incentive and equity allocation
- Maintain knowledge of programs and local regulations, requirements and reporting
- Ensure all regional programs and processes adhere to American Express governance standard and support governance review processes
The Successful Candidate - You will come with 12-15 years of experience in managing compensation and benefits with an MNC in the Banking / Consulting / IT industry having led compensation for 10,000+ employees. Excellent business acumen, leadership qualities and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role. You will come with at least 2 years of experience in the international market.
