Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Project Management:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the projects division, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, focusing on quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with department heads (HODs) and clients to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize project execution.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Manage and motivate a team of project managers, engineers, contractors, and other project personnel.
- Ensure a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols.
Financial Management & Performance Optimization:
- Manage the financial aspects of the projects division, including budget allocation, cost control, and profitability analysis.
- Implement strategies to optimize financial performance and maximize return on investment (ROI) for projects.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing commercial and civil projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (MBA required).
- Minimum 9+ years of experience in managing commercial/civil projects with a proven track record of success (required).
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans for project execution.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent financial management skills with a strong understanding of budgeting and cost control.
- In-depth knowledge of building design and construction processes.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with HSE regulations
