Commercial Head- Cement (20 years) CA/MBA

Reports to CEO/CFO

Location- Kolkata

Strategic Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Vendor Development, Inventory Control CAPEX Procurement Continuous Process Improvement Import Operations Contract Management Budgeting / Cost Reduction Techno - Commercial negotiations.

- Will provide leadership direction to Commercial department.

- Responsible for the Raw Material requirements for the organization's entire Cement group

- Focus on high cost reduction in raw material cost to improve the bottom line profitability

- Responsible for the optimum inventory to avoid working capital blockage

- Liaising with all the required authorities pertaining to the raw material, procurement, capex, green field projects, projects expansion and supply chain plan.

- Taking care of sales & distribution, logistics, bulk loading and transportation movement of raw material and finished goods

- Steering the land acquisition for new project and expansion, mining & other infrastructural needs; ensuring peaceful possession, resettlement & rehabilitation.

- Acquire long term contracts at competitive terms thus reducing cost of CFAs & rent

- Implement latest inventory control techniques, ensuring standardization of parts, reducing variety, finalising rate contracts, facilitating e- procurement, etc.

- To work closely with the unit head to formulate strategies on commercial issues that has far reaching implications for the unit and the organization.

- To review logistics cost and manpower costs on a regular internal basis and providing guidelines to optimize costs and increase efficiency.

- To ensure procurement of land for limestone.

- Ensure proper closing and registration of deals as per statutory requirements.

- Liaison with senior government officials as required for closure of the land deals.
