We are looking for Head Collection Strategy - Mortgages / LAP / Affordable Housing.

1. Collection Strategy Development:

- Develop and execute comprehensive collection strategies for all segments of the loan portfolio, balancing customer satisfaction, risk, and revenue recovery.

- Analyze portfolio performance and trends, identifying opportunities for improvement in collections strategies.

- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of collection processes and recommend enhancements to maximize recovery and minimize delinquency.

2. Team Leadership and Management:

- Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing collections team, providing guidance, coaching, and support.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Risk, Finance, Customer Service, and IT, to optimize collection efforts and address challenges.

3. Risk and Compliance:

- Ensure all collection activities comply with legal, regulatory, and internal policies.

- Monitor and mitigate risks related to delinquent accounts, ensuring collections are aligned with company objectives and regulatory standards.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Utilize advanced analytics to measure the effectiveness of collection strategies, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate actionable insights.

- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting trends, outcomes, and areas for improvement.

5. Process Optimization and Innovation:

- Lead continuous process improvements, introducing new collection methodologies, tools, and technologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

- Stay informed of industry best practices and trends to enhance the company's collection strategies.

6. Customer Experience Management:

- Ensure a customer-centric approach is maintained during all collection activities, maintaining professionalism while striving for optimal recovery outcomes.

- Implement strategies to improve customer retention post-collection, balancing recovery with customer relationship management.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in developing and executing collection strategies, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., financial services, preferably must have managed HL, LAP, Affordable housing ].

- Strong understanding of credit risk, delinquency management, and regulatory requirements related to collections.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in using data analytics tools and collection software.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with digital collection tools and platforms.

- Knowledge of the latest trends in debt recovery and customer service practices.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Experience in legal tools used in HL, LAP , Affordable housing (SARFAESI, Section 138, Section -25 Other legal tools
