Job Description :

Collection Strategy & Analytics :

- This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment where strong analytical skills, business acumen, and superior communication skills are leveraged to support our company's collection strategy & analytics team.

- As part of the collection strategy team you are required to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on credit card & loans accounts.


- Expectations include assisting in developing, maintaining, and improving program policies, strategies, MIS reports, processes and procedures within the assigned function, conducting complex analysis and providing accurate and concise results with recommendations to management.


- Primarily use advanced tools and techniques to perform assigned work. You will be responsible for owning processes and will be accountable for regular reporting or process administration.

Key Activities :

- Create segmentation in the portfolio based on the risk attached to the clients for efficient handling

- Monitoring portfolio for increasing delinquency patterns based on the portfolio triggers

- Creating Standard and Adhoc management reporting and analysis for portfolio review

- Analyze data to identify early warning signals (Productivity, efficiency & effectiveness) and proactively provide feedback in order to take corrective actions

- Effective trigger based on monitoring to ensure adherence to the process in place and regular improvement ideas for initiating positive changes in the process.

- Proactively seeks, finds and recommends opportunities to improve customer experience, processes, policies, budget vs actual and profit for the company

- Provides accurate and concise results and presents findings, recommendations and presentations to Senior Management

- Proactively finds work/ analysis that helps collection/ recovery team to improve performance

- Expected to work on multiple projects with limited guidance

- Effectively mentors other team mates to help them develop their analytics tools & techniques and risk management skills and knowledge about the business and processes

- May work on several projects and processes.

- Document all changes and strategies for ready reference.

- Create regular champion challengers to drive continuous improvement(improved performance, reducing cost)

Qualifications & Knowledge Areas :

- Bachelor's/ Master degree in a quantitative discipline; Math, Finance, Statistics, Economics or equivalent work/training is required; advanced degree is preferred

- Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills. Ability to synthesize / analyze diverse information, develop recommendations, and makes decisions

- Ability to analyze, understand root cause

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals across departments / functions and with senior-level individuals, should have the ability to present information confidently in a crisp and easily understandable way

- Proven record in problem solving and business innovation. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

- Project Management Skills - well-organized, structured approach. Ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables. Ability to manage and prioritize projects across cross-functional groups

- Strong knowledge and understanding of financial services

- Strong knowledge of Excel

- Hands on knowledge on tools like SAS, SQL, R and other analytics tools

- Knowledge/ past experience in collections will be good to have
