Head Channel Sales - Apparel Brand
Reporting to CEO
Candidates with experience in handling distribution and offline sales within the following industries are encouraged to apply Apparel, luxury goods, Jewelry, Footwear, Leather Goods Eyewear, Fashion Accessories and Watches Industry.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Planning and Implementation:
- Plan, direct, and implement sales strategies and programs to achieve both top-line (revenue) and bottom-line (profit) objectives across all verticals.
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales strategies aimed at increasing market share and profitability, ensuring alignment with the annual business plan, and detailing targets for revenue, market share, and cost management.
Sales Execution and Management:
- Drive the national sales plan across all offline verticals, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
- Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network to guarantee adequate customer servicing within established credit policies and other guidelines.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Plan and budget for sales targets, ensuring financial resources are effectively allocated and managed to meet sales objectives.
- Develop and manage sales budgets, overseeing the development and management of internal operating budgets.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Create and nurture a preferred customer brand, ensuring high levels of customer support and satisfaction.
- Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors to foster collaboration and support.
Market Analysis and Competitor Profiling:
- Understand competitor profiles and market positioning to strategically position the company's products.
- Compile, analyze, and present data on competitors and the business environment to identify opportunities and threats.
Sales Team Leadership and Development:
- Build, sustain, and grow the sales team, ensuring high levels of engagement and smooth operation.
- Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring team objectives are met.
Distribution and Channel Management:
- Build and sustain distribution channels to ensure last-mile reach of products, maximizing market penetration.
- Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions to ensure comprehensive availability of the company's products and services.
Coordination and Internal Collaboration:
- Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders such as sourcing, planning, manufacturing, and packaging to ensure timely product supply.
- Ensure sales administration procedures are properly implemented to support the sales teams in achieving their targets.
Brand Positioning and Consumer Insights:
- Analyze brand positioning in the market and crystallize targeted consumer insights to inform sales strategies.
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities to identify opportunities and key issues.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Compile, analyze, and present data on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Monitor and report on market trends and consumer reactions, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve sales objectives.
